A few quick answers about how R2 Utility works.
R2 Utility is a recording and reporting platform that keeps your assets, tasks, and locations in one centralized system.
It connects field teams and office staff to simplify workflows, improve visibility, and provide convenient access to system information when you need it.
Yes. R2 Utility is a fully web-based platform designed for real-time access from any modern browser. An internet connection is required to use the system.
For teams working in areas with limited connectivity, we provide structured paper data collection forms that mirror the platform’s digital inputs. This allows field data to be captured on-site and entered into R2 Utility once a connection is available—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and eliminating duplicate data entry.
Yes. R2 Utility includes routing capabilities so users can create routes based on tasks assigned to them.
This helps reduce drive time, group work efficiently, and optimize daily routines for field staff.
Not yet. R2 Utility partners with Stripe for invoicing and payments, and this feature is currently under development.
Once released, service providers will be able to invoice, bill, and collect payments directly in the platform.
Notifications keep users informed about what needs their attention in R2 Utility.
Notices are documents sent to external contacts to inform them of something specific.
For example, a utility or service provider can send an annual backflow test due reminder, or a follow-up notice if a test or repair has not been completed.
Yes. Test reports can be configured to automatically email customers and water systems once tests are completed.
This setting is controlled in account settings, so each organization can decide how and when reports are shared.
Yes. A primary email address is required for each subscription, and every user must have their own unique email.
This ensures secure access, password recovery, and clear communication about account activity.
You own your data.
All information in R2 Utility can be downloaded to .csv files at any time so you can retain your records or move them to other systems if needed.
No. There are no long-term contracts or commitments.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be canceled at any time.
If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing cycle.
After the billing period ends, account data is permanently removed from R2 Utility according to our data retention policy.
Yes. R2 Utility is designed to scale as you add users, assets, and locations.
You pay for what you need today and can adjust your capacity and plan level over time as your program grows.
